A mumei shinto wakizashi, mounted in shirasaya.  Ubu, one mekugiana, shinogizukure, iroi mune, chu-kissaki.  Hawatare: 1 shaku 3 sun 1 bu (39.7 cm or 15.63").  Motohaba: 3.06 cm.  Sakihaba:  2.3 cm.  Kasane: 6.1  mm.  Gunome with tight crab claw in groups of three, hataraki, yo, kinsuji, nado.  The hamon continues slightly into the boshi before becoming a komaru with a medium longish kaeri.  The jigane is a tight itame, with a slight feeling of nagare in places, nado.  Mounted in shirasaya with a wood habaki, the shirasaya is very fine tiger stripe enoki.    Everything is visible, but needs a good polish.
