Masayoshi Serpent Tsuba

A classic Serpent tsuba signed Masayoshi (kakihan).  7.32  cm x 7.04 cm x 6.9 mm.   A shinchu tsuba with silver belly scales, some of the silver worn.  The red tongue appears to be a lacquer addition, not and inlay.   I have not been able to reference this kakihan in Haynes.  However, there are a number of Masayoshi working in late Edo and into early Meiji, which is when I feel that this tsuba dates from.    $2,500
