A Gendai katana signed, [?] Ichimonji. Shinogizukure, iroi mune, chukissaki. Hawatare: 2 Shaku 0 sun 2 bu 2.2 rin (61.277 cm / 24.125"). Motohaba: 3.08 cm. Sakihaba: 2.03 cm. Kasane: 6.5 mm. Ko gunome togare in a chusuguba ko midare. Bright habuchi. Kyo yakidashi. The boshi is komaru with a modest kaeri. The jigane is tight itame. The nakago is ubu, there is no arsenal mark. Good older polish, not arsenal grade. Some minimal scratching on one side, Perhaps from cutting something.
A well forged gendaito, but I am unable to find specific information on this smith.
