A long , nicely mounted, wakizashi signed, Etchu no Kami Kanekuni.  Ubu nakago, one mekugiana, shinogizukure, iroi mune, chu kissaki,   slight sakizori.   Hawatare: 1 shaku 8 sun 9  bu  7 sun (57.5 cm or 22.64").  Motohaba: 3.077 cm.  Sakihaba:  2.131 cm.  Kasane: 6.35   mm.  Florid choji midare, hotsure, tobiyaki in fine konie deki.  Tight itame slightly nagare hada packed with fine konie.  Everything is visible, but some light scratching detaches from something that otherwise would have no need for apology.  This appears to be the work of the second generation, he worked around Enpo jidai (1673-1681).  His home province was Yamato, rated chusaku  in Fujishiro Nihon Toko Jiten - Shimto Hen.

The later  koshirae is a multi-strand white tsukamaki, Shakudo  Nara fuchi-kashira cranes and a fishing boat, in shakudo gold and silver. The menuki are high class minogami in shakudo and gold.  The shinchu tsuba is also likely Nara, signed Yasuchika.
