A well carved and sculpted tsuba signed, Echizen Ju / Kinai Saku. Face 7.19 cm x 7.15cm x 4.9 mm at the mimi. This appears to be an early work, due to its artistry. The early Kinai were horimono carvers to the Echizen Yasutsugu, and the make of this tsuba is certainly worthy of that. The tsuba will benefit from some brush work to clean off the surface rust. The back will require some work with a bone.
