Tetsugundo Naofusa Tsuba

Tsuba signed, Toryuken Naofusa with a gold han in honzogan. 1775 -1800. 7.55 cm x 7.34 cm. x 5 mm. Good color and condition. Ref. Haynes H06602.0 He never married and lived at his parents home. He also signed, Seiryuken Eiju, which had previously been attributed to another artist in the Umetada school. There are many Eiju examples of varying quality, and further study is required. Wakayama devotes three pages to Naofusa in Toso Kodogu Meiji Taisei, Volume II, 102 - 104.
