Shakudo Namban Menuki

An excellent set of Muromachi (as per Robert Haynes) shakudo menuki. These are some of the deepest black shakudo that I have seen. The motif is Namban A man with curly hair, a beard gold earring and arm bands. The other the figure is engulfed in a hooded cape and wearing a gold earring. The walls are thin and even. 3.24 cm x 1.49 cm x 3.8 mm 3.25 cm x 1.43 mm x 3.5 mm. A very fine set. $800
