A Katana signed, 江戸住森太郎 Edo ju Moritairo. Date Showa ichihachi nen ju ichi hi (11th day 1944) (Shinogizukure, iroi mune, chu kissaki, bo hi. Hawatare 2 Shaku 7 Sun 9 Bu (66.04 cm / 26"). Moritairo has in the words of Sato Sensei, "fallen out of te dictionary". However there are examples of his work that are generally 23 to 26 inches, and found in kaigunto and traditional koshirae. For some rason, many examples have had the dates ground off. I suspect to be able to pass them off as shinshinto or shinto. $2,850
