Kagamishi Dai-sho Tsuba

A dai-sho set of kagamishi (mirror makers) tsuba. A fu dog and peonies on the dai, with a simple textured reverse ( 7.52 cm x 7.23 cm x 5.1 mm). A tiger and dragon on the sho, with both face and reverse with a simple texture (7.44 cm x 7.22 cm x 5 mm). Late work, likely Meiji or Taisho, made either for a not prosperous samurai, or for export to the European market. Boxed.
