Kaga Myochin Style Tsuba

A large late 18th to mid 19th century tsuba of a chidori and bamboo spouts, and a raised bamboo rim. 8.21 cm x 7.67 cm x 5.8 at the mimi. The radiating Amida Tsuchi is something I have only come across in Kaga Myochin of this period. Light surface rust which will require some time with a stiff horse hair brush to bring this back to its proper state. That I am holding the tsuba, indicates how difficult getting a decent picture of this one was. $850
