Indian Namban Tsuba

A large Namban tsuba that is obviously an import to Japan, its origins would likely be either India or Indo-China. The obvious tell is the dagger on the left hand side, which is clearly from the aforementioned areas and not at all Japanese. The silver nunome is intact. This is a Namban that, if not unique, is certainly few in numbers. I have never seen similar in fifty-odd years. 8.45 cm x 8.06 x 4.4 mm. $550
