Ho-o Bird Fuchi-Kashira

From a Museum collection, a mumei kashira of superior work. Very fine nanako and detailing, gold uttori. 3.41 cm x 1.61 cm x 9.8 mm. My guess would be Ishigoro work. I know, half sets are not that desirable, but every now and again an item is just too beautiful to walk away from. This should be collected and appreciated for itself, or could be mounted with a plain shakudo nanako fuchi.
