A large iron sukashi tsuba 8.18 cm x 8.2 cm x 0.46 cm. Nice design, iron, and condition. Despite the early shaped kodzuka ana and laminated plate (note lamination at four o'clock [bottom right of kodzuka ana] on image on the right hand side), the piece feels like middle Edo to me. I could well be wrong. There was probably a rim at some point in the past. Great for either collecting or mounting. $625
