Early Goto Kozuka

Pre-Edo mainline Goto kozuka. deep blue black shakudo with a sode in shakudo and gold utori. Much of the nanako has been worn smooth, and some of the utori has been worn through as well. There is a missing boarder piece at the end where the kogatana fits in (left side of picture). Museum catalog numbers on the back. Identified by Robert Haynes, February 2015 when he had a chance to examine it in hand. $450
