A rare museum quality Ainu koshirae. 55.3 cm / 21.77". Either tarnished silver or an alloy like shibuichi. The blade itself would have been about 20.32 cm / 8" x 2.22 cm wide x 7.1 mm thick. This is something that the Japanese administrators gave to Ainu leaders to make them look official
